Hat Fitz & Cara can in no way be mistaken for a dainty duo. They are festival favourites throughout Canada, Australia, Europe, and the UK and it has been said they pack more energy into one song than most have in an entire career.
A unique combination of hill-style Gospel blues with old timey flavourings and stripped down to just voices, guitar and vintage drums, Hat Fitz & Cara embellish impeccable rootsy originals with soulful vocals reminiscent of a time once forgotten.
Their fourth album, 'After The Rain' has a unique vintage sound that these two have created themselves yet it is packed with a modern punch that cannot be denied once seen live.

There is something so amazing hearing many voices together in harmony and we are indeed excited and overwhelmed with the response from the many great artists voices that have come forward from Queensland, Sydney & Victoria joining us on our 4th album release 'After The Rain'. The Tour started off with a few extra voices joining us on stage and since word has got out we have ended up bringing a few choirs together on the night, which is so exciting as they have never met or sang before. These original compositions really lend themselves to a gritty bitter and sweet entirety of harmonious voices. Each night there will be a unique lay out of the room with you as the audience positioned so that you are enveloped in a wonderful stereo sound experience of instruments and voice. This will be a unique experience not to be missed as the audience is transcended through a night influenced by Blues, Folk and raw Southern Gospel.

The Plate & Glass meal includes one meal option with one glass of selected wine which will be made available at the Green Room Bar from the time doors open through to 10:30pm.

Some Dinner & Show Bookings may be on a shared table. Please let us know at the time of the booking as a special request should you prefer not to share, and subject to availability we'll do our best to accommodate your request. Note it is not possible to join ticket holders together across ticket groups (meaning A Reserve ticket holders cannot sit with B Reserve etc).

The Basement has very limited accessibility for patrons with disabilities, however please contact the venue to ensure there is adequate availability for you to enjoy the show comfortably and they can advise on the recommended seating options.
