Returning to the stage and her hometown of Wollongong for the first time in two years, Bec Sandridge and her new band will be road-testing

fresh material from her long-awaited sophomore record. Throughout these two years, Sandridge has been busily composing the near-future theatre score for Ishamel which premiered at QPAC for Brisbane Festival and will appear at the Sidney Opera House for a season later this year. And has collaborated with Dave Jenkins Jnr (Daniel Johns, Vera Blue, Meg Mac), Lucy Taylor (Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding), Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper) and Geoff Swan (Haim, Charli XCX). The songs stand tall in the inevitable decay of love and loss, are are step forward from her debut album TRY + SAVE ME: an intimate, multidimensional and catchy effervescent blend of pop-rock.

Great Southern Nights is a celebration of live music that takes place right across New South Wales. The dynamic event features hundreds of COVID-safe performances at live music venues across Greater Sydney and regional NSW in March and April 2022.
