GRENADIERS + GOD GOD DAMMIT DAMMIT 10 YEAR BIRTHDAY
This event has passed and sales are now closed
One sweaty night in 2008, a couple of upstart punk rock bands played their shared first show at the now-demolished Jade Monkey on Twin st. It seemed only fitting for Grenadiers and God God Dammit Dammit to get together a full 10 years later and throw the mother of all birthday parties. In the intervening period, both bands have toured relentlessly, released a stack of albums and EPs, drank several pubs dry and remained very good friends.
This June 16 at the Ed Castle, beverages will be downed, drums bashed, guitars wrangled, tears shed, arrests made. Fallen soldiers from line-ups past will disgrace the stage for a burn through the discographies of two of Adelaide's longest lasting and most well-loved bands.
With Young Offenders rounding out a killer night of music, this is an event not to be missed. Unless you don't like fun. Or Rock and Roll. Or a pack of hairy weirdos having fun and playing rock and roll.
