Lady Lyon (Hayley Lyon)  leaves nothing to the imagination with her new single Surf’s Up, A rolling folk-rock ode to picking up the pieces. Coming to the stage for the first time this year with her full band, Ross tipper, Mark Piccles & Hewett Cook with special guest support by Inner West Alt-Country Troubadour Kev Walsh.

Lady Lyon has spent more years behind the wheel of her guitar than any car. Brick by brick, she has built her own style of Folk Rock: one that houses her uniquely nuanced lyrics and unconventional melodies, ones that warmly invite us to relax before flowing into darker parts of our hearts with sentiments of loss, love and hope.

The Central Coast native's fourth single "surfs up" throws us back to intimate feelings of home and family with Lyon's tell-tale lyrics and strumming, but also demonstrates what happens to a solo artist's sound when they've toured extensively with a live band. It's energetic, eclectic and delivered through a thick, groovy barrel of layered production thanks to recording Collaborator Mark Piccles (ADKOB).
