Alex the Astronaut has always had a supernatural knack for capturing human experience in song.  With her heart-swelling, folk-inflected pop, music’s bright-eyed  anthropologist uses sprawling narratives and rich vignettes to unravel the joys and struggles of everyday life.

On her recently released debut album, The Theory Of Absolutely Nothing, Alex The Astronaut proves that she has always had a supernatural knack for capturing human experience in song.  

Until this point, Alex has been unable to tour the album due to…. you know... that thing that happened... but is so excited to finally bring the songs to life on stage and share the stories that have inspired them.

The Theory Of Absolutely Nothing received the highly regarded triple j feature album and Alex performed for triple J Like a Version. Songs from the album have been  building worldwide radio support with a successful US college radio campaign, Elton’s John’s Apple Radio, ongoing support from Holland radio and UK radio plays  including BBC Radio 1, X Radio and BBC Wales and FLUXFM in Germany.
