Australia’s biggest comedy and wine festival returns to the beautiful lawns at Josef Chromy this February.

Grapes of Mirth, is back for the sixth year in a row, at Josef Chromy, Launceston on Saturday 15 February - 12:00pm to 6:00pm.

As always, Grapes of Mirth are bringing with them an unrivalled line-up of incredible comedy, including Charlie Pickering and Sammy J who are both making their Grapes of Mirth debuts!

Pickers is one of the busiest men in show business, a stalwart on our screens, but it all started on stage where he was nominated for best newcomer at the prestigious Perrier awards at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Sammy J is an Australian comedian, author, composer, and broadcaster. He's performed around the world, had a sitcom on Netflix, is one half of the man/puppet comedy duo "Sammy J & Randy", creates satirical sketches for ABC TV and currently hosts the breakfast show on ABC Radio Melbourne.

He's basically had more career eras than Taylor Swift.

Joining them are RuPaul's Drag Race and Taskmaster Australia star Rhys Nicholson, who is coming in hot from a huge UK tour; Chris Ryan, who is making her seventh Grapes of Mirth appearance(!), a crowd favourite who takes no prisoners and makes us all laugh a lot; and Prue Blake, one of Australia’s most exciting new comedians who has been on the up and up since she won the National RAW Comedy Competition in 2021.

Grapes of Mirth Head Clown Merrick Watts is on MC duties for the afternoon, and of course we've got DJ Pedro on the decks so the party doesn't stop.

This is an 18+ event—strictly no BYO food or beverages.

See you on the lawns at Josef Chromy in February!
