6 Comedians - 1 DJ - 5 Wine Producers - 6 Hours of Entertainment!

Five of Australia’s best comedians and your host Merrick Watts will make their way to Ballandean Estate for 6 hours of comedy, music, wine, gourmet grub and the most amazing festival vibes.Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate festival day with five headline comedy sets, a host with the most, and some sweet DJ tunes (brought to you by the one and only, DJ PEDRO MOSHMAN!) to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended.


We know COVID can make things uncertain at the moment (and quite frankly be a big pain in the arse!) but rest assured if this event needs to be rescheduled or cancelled due to restrictions, we will refund your tickets. This includes people that can't attend the event due to border closures.



Luke McGregor
Writer, actor, and one of Australia’s favourite comedians. Luke is also co-creator, co-writer, and star of the smash hit sitcom 'Rosehaven' with Celia Pacquola for ABC TV, for which Luke won the award for Most Popular Actor at the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards!  You might have also spotted him on ABC's 'Utopia' or on 'The Weekly with Charlie Pickering' with his 'Lukenmics' segment.


Harley Breen
TV host, podcaster, and damn good comedian, Harley Breen's presence guarantees a good time for all around. He's got a voice like a chainsaw, which pairs perfectly with his lumberjack moustache - appropriate, as his comedy is strong enough to chop down trees.


Nikki Britton
Nikki was recently nominated for the biggest award in Australian Comedy, Most Outstanding show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, with her electrifying stage presence, warmth and personable demeanour, Nikki Britton is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedy talents.


Mel Buttle
Host of 'The Great Australian Bake Off', regular contributor to the the Courier Mail, and wine lover, Mel is brilliant so we’re rapt Brisbane' finest is coming on the short road trip with us to the Granite Belt.


Damien Power
Three-time nominee for Most Outstanding Show of the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Toowoomba boy Damien Power is the most exhilarating voice on the Australian comedy circuit, racking up numerous awards, nominations, rave reviews, and selling out rooms across the country.


Merrick Watts
The "Merrick" from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. You might have seen him recently getting smashed in the face on SAS Australia, Australia's REAL reality show. Mez loves wine, so much so that he's a qualified sommelier, with dreams of retiring to a big Chesterfield, smoking a cigar and drinking Cabernet.

We're excited to be hosting multiple wine producers from the Granite Belt region including:

Other drinks including beer and cider will also be available from our main bar. 

Food will be available all day from The Barrelroom at Ballandean Estate, offering a variety of international cuisines on the day. Platter and hampers can be pre-purchased only via our ticketing platform, ready for collection at the event on your arrival.
 

This is an 18+ event, because there are comedians involved, and well, because there are comedians involved.

Strictly no BYO food or beverage
Please note this is an outdoor event - all tickets include your very own take-home wine glass.

There is no allocated seating - grab your friends, your picnic rug or chair, and join us on the lush lawns at Ballandean Estate.
