Promising nothing but Good Times, Norman Jay MBE returns to continue his run of sellout shows at COAST – this time he brings two friends for a supersized Good Times party: reggae icon David Rodigan for his FIRST EVER Perth show, plus Brazil’s DJ Marky who will be pouring liquid drum n bass gold. Good Times has everyone’s dancefloor needs completely covered.

Norman Jay is unquestionably one of the most respected and popular DJs in the world. Co-founder of the legendary Good Times Sound System and London dance music station KISS FM, Jay fostered the 'Rare Groove' scene pushing the boundaries of the UK's emerging club culture. Awarded an MBE from the Queen herself for services to DJing and music, in 2017 he released 'Mister Good Times', a compilation capturing the true spirit of Good Times, and is taking his legendary Good Times party to selected venues around the world, continuing to convert generations of clubbers to the cause, championing new sounds, yet never forgetting his musical roots, thus guaranteeing nothing but 'Good Times'.

Joining the Good Times is fellow legend and British music icon David Rodigan for his first ever set in Perth. For over 40 years David Rodigan has been the top dog in the ganja-scented, bass-heavy atmosphere of Britain's reggae dance-halls. The key to his success has been an unsinkable passion for reggae music, which first took a hold of him as a schoolboy when he heard ska music in the early '60s. He developed an obsession with the music of Jamaica that generated an encyclopaedic knowledge of the island's every artist, every song and every rhythm track. Rodigan will be bringing his unique collection of customised dub plates and classic recordings to Perth for the very first time in February, a once in a lifetime opportunity for his loyal reggae fans to see him play in Australia.

You can't have Good Times without a bit of Brazil - enter the main man DJ Marky.
Marky kicked off his killer career in drum n bass in Brazil in the early nineties, but by '97 he went to London, met Hype and Goldie and quickly got voted 'Best New DJ' in '99. A magician on the decks and responsible for true certified d'n'b classics (callin' out 'it's the way' from 'LK' collab with XRS) he douses clubbers with funk-laced tunes in the most iconic clubs in the world. In 2015 he released the album 'My Heroes' and now, he's our hero. Especially after doing a Bolier Room set IN HIS OWN HOME. Proper PLUR.

Huge round of local stars to be announced soon.
