Glowing’s long awaited third single ‘Cameo’ is nearly here and to celebrate, they are performing their first headline show at the Exeter on Friday March 14. Sharing the stage alongside Glowing are good friends and local legends Stacy Says and Cold Wave who also have reasons to celebrate!
Navigating the chasm opening up between you and another person is hard and that is what Glowing explore and dissect in their latest release ‘Cameo’. “Blame drifts somewhere in the middle - edging closer to either person depending on the angle you observe it from. Cameo examines how this notion of accountability gathers feelings of shame and self-doubt the same way an old photograph gathers dust. It is the tangled branches of confusion we get caught up in right before a period of growth, the incessant inner monologue that confuses hate and love, clarity and regret.”
Stacy Says will also be celebrating the release of their single ‘Body’ which depicts feeling stuck in a rut in the depths of winter, not feeling like your best self in the relationship you're in and, most importantly, learning that your body is perfect no matter what it's capable of. It's about realising that you don't have to please anybody in a way that compromises your wellbeing.
And Cold Wave will jumping up on stage for the first time!
