Celebrating 100 years of the songwriting genius that was Giorgos MItsakis.

A live tribute not to be missed by lovers of Rebetika and Greek Music - this concert will not disappoint. Bringing together some of Melbournes' most prominent musicians including Dean Georgalas, Achilles Yiangoulli, Con Kalamaras and  Stavrina Dimitriou plus more!

The music Giogos Mitsakis is synonymous with the cultural landscape of Greece post world war two, Mitsakis a songwriting powerhouse wrote some of the music influential songs of his time including O Psaras, Palamakia, To Kavgadaki and many more. 

Tickets for show only $35 +BF  or  with dinner included $80 +BF  (a special Greek inspired menu for this night only)

Booking is essential and will sell out. 

Dinner & show ticket holders need to arrive close to 6.30pm for service

TICKETING INFO

Due to current Covid restrictions shows will be seated and limited per sitting. 

Tickets are only available in multiples of two (2) as we have limited tables available and so we can keep the capacity properly distanced.

Please note: Tables cannot be joined together on the evening. Please ensure everyone you wish to seat at your table is included in your booking to avoid being seated separately. Ideally if you can arrive together at the same time, that will help with seating you all together.

Please adhere to social distancing at all times and follow direction from venue staff.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.

DINNER AND SHOW
The kitchen will be serving the Dinner & Show Menu for this show, with dinner served from 6:30pm.
When the Ballroom offers a Dinner & Show experience, meals must be pre-booked with your tickets prior to the event. Only patrons who pre-purchase a Dinner & Show experience are able to dine in the venue on the night. You can view the delicious menu by clicking here.

The Brunswick Ballroom has made significant improvements to accessibility by installing an Acorn Chairlift. (Model: New Acorn Indoor 180 Curved Stairlift.)
