Georgie Currie is a Melbourne based singer-songwriter from Albury, NSW. Over the past five years, Georgie’s powerful voice has become known to festival audiences across Australia as the lead singer of ten-piece folk/rock band ‘The Northern Folk’.
Georgie’s solo project is an entirely different beast. Her songs blend the broken, intimate fears of youth with a vocal intensity beyond her years. Lyrically and harmonically mature, she paints portraits remarkable as much for their emotional power as their vulnerability.
2019 will see Georgie releasing her first EP ‘Flowers For Your Worst Days' at The Toff in Town on 23 May.
