The Duke of George Celebrates the Summer George Street Festival with an awesome vinyl Record Fair from 11am-4pm and its live original music program from 4pm featuring Dave Brewers Deluxe Combo after a recent sell-out album launch, with some simply superb swingin’ blues.

In perfect southern hospitality style, the Duke will be serving up 36 hour WA Cajun pork belly, finished on the woodfire spit roast in the courtyard in porchetta rolls with Coopers outside can bar, sangria specials and extra outdoor dining.

Dave Brewers Deluxe Combo

Dave Brewer's  performance on Sunday Dec 5th will see his full five piece line-up showcasing songs from the new album release, “Long Road Back Home”. Featuring Harry Mitchell on keyboards, Jeremy Trezona on tenor sax, Alex Borthwick electric bass and Elliot Smith drums, this show is a must for any lovers of groove-laden blues, soul, funk and jazz. 

“Long Road Back Home” is the first album in eight years from Dave Brewer, an artist who comfortably sits amongst the giants of Rhythm and Blues in the Australian music scene. Blues, Roots, Soul, Funk, Jazz. Brewer is a musician who effortlessly slips, slides and dances between, through and around these genres, seamlessly distilling them into an unmistakably Australian sound while he does so.
