Australia’s favourite science-comedy mash-up returns to the Perth Comedy Festival after last year’s sold-out season! This year, we’ve teamed up comedians with brilliant scientists from Curtin University to deliver hilarious, high-energy science talks like you’ve never seen before. Yes, these are real scientists doing stand-up comedy. Yes, you will laugh and learn at the same time. Each show features a rapid-fire lineup of Perth’s best, brightest and boldest science minds. You’ll be taken on a whirlwind tour of ideas, discoveries and “wait… is that actually true?” moments. Previous crowd-favourite topics have included black holes, microbiology, psychology, and genetic engineering. In 2026 we will have plenty more weird and wonderful topics. Smart. Silly. Surprising. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Tickets. If you are attending a ticketed event, please have your tickets ready to scan on entry.

Bring ID. The Rechabite is a licensed venue and you may be asked for a valid ID at the entrance. Anyone unable to provide ID may be refused entry. 

*Age Suitability.

• For 18+ Events: Guests under the age of 18 will not be permitted to attend, even with a parent/guardian.
  
  
• For U18 (Accompanied by Parent/Guardian) Events: 
  • U18 guests must be directly supervised at all times by their own parent or legally certified guardian and must exit the venue by 10PM. 
  • Both must hold a valid ticket to the event. 
  • Siblings, Nominated Adults, or Family Members under the age of 25 years will not be accepted as legal guardians.
  • Age Suitability rules apply: if the event has a minimum age (e.g. 16+), anyone younger cannot attend, even with a parent/guardian.
  • No refunds will be issued if entry is refused for failing to meet these guidelines.

Zero Tolerance. 

The Rechabite has a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discriminatory, or anti-social behaviour. Please be kind to one another. If you see or experience anything that makes you feel unsafe please speak to our staff.

The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to any person.
