Friction Presents and Assembly are very excited to be launching a brand new concept for Canberra, "360°." 

We are bringing the performance to you by delivering an immersive 360° set up around the DJ booth to get you up close and personal with your favourite artists. 

Everyone loves a good Boiler Room set, so we decided to bring this concept to Canberra with one of our favourite artists, The Bag Raiders. 

After their sold-out show in May, we feel there is no better act to bring the 360° concept to life than one of Australia's much-loved dance legends. From the way, they interact with the crowds to the fantastic tune selection to just being all-around legends to watch perform. 

To cap it all off, we have Alex Preston from Toolroom records making his debut in the capital. Alex performs with live guitar in his sets and is one you shouldn't miss. 

Supported by Canberra’s finest, this is going to be one of THE parties of the summer.

The Bag Raiders:

From club stardom to world tours and festival slots over the past decade, the pair have built a reputation for mammoth dance releases that keep the world moving with them, including the gold-certified singles' Way Back Home' and 'Sunlight', and 32 times platinum, runaway meme phenomenon and global anthem 'Shooting Stars'.

Alex Preston:

Since the inception of his live show and his exciting new style of house music, Alex Preston has become a force to be reckoned with in the world of electronic music. The Sydney-native utilises his skills as a virtuoso musician as he tastefully melds his signature guitar licks with disco-tinged bass lines and warm pulsating house beats.

With Mark Knight labelling him as one of his favourite producers and signing with Mark's infamous Toolroom Records, Alex was handed the responsibility of mixing and curating the Toolroom Poolside Album 2020. The release features four new originals from Alex with vocals from Rion S and includes his collaboration with the legendary Friend Within. It also contains 2 DJ mixes hand-picked by Alex, showcasing Alex's production talents and his skills as a tastemaker DJ.
