An energetic night filled with a sonic melting pot of garage, psychedelic and progressive rock music featuring prime up and coming artists from Sydney’s live music scene.
Forest Hall -- From their early days recording catchy garage pop ear-worms at home in the leafy burbs and backwaters of Sydney, Forest Hall, never being content with hitting a point of musical reprise, have continually expanded and developed their sound, growing through their songwriting and influences all the while.
2022 sees the band tentatively finish up work on their up-and-coming, as yet unnamed, Debut Full length LP. Drawing from a much broader line of sonic landscapes the band has set the scene with the first single off the record, Sea Song, dropped March 15th. With some conscious stylistic nods to the likes of QOTSA as well as a slew of both Classic and Indie heavy hitters, the band is ripe and rearing to go, eager to share the fruits of their efforts from over the last few years spent hunkered down in a variety of dark rooms fumbling over compressors, preamps, guitars and old dusty synths. Vale! Fozzy Hall!
‘Belting out a distinctly bullshit-free iteration of garage rock ‘n’ roll, Forest Hall are the band to jam to when you’re feeling the weight of society bearing down upon your shoulders.’ –HAPPY MAG
