Proto Exotica pres: Felipe Gordon

The lid's been lifted, and we're pleased to announce Felipe Gordon's Melbourne debut at The Night Cat on the 15th March!

Based in Bogotá, Felipe's proof that House Music is universal— deeply rooted in rich local subtleties that set it apart. A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and a straight-up phenomenon behind the decks, Felipe blends everything from jazz samples to acid basslines, crafting House records that set him apart.

With a stacked discography—over 5 EPs and an album just this year alone —he’s been making waves on top labels like Shall Not Fade, Toy Tonics, Heist Recordings, Razor-N-Tape, and Noire & Blanche. And he’s not stopping there. His label, Wide Awake, is already a home for fresh, genre-blurring sounds, including his own second album and Vinocio’s debut, a hidden gem from Latin America’s Soul/R&B scene.
