Felipe Baldomir is an Indie-Folk singer and songwriter from Uruguay, South America. He is a multi-instrumentalist musical architect, who takes his audience on soulful sonic journeys.

Through his music he shares his reflections of people and places, of moments and memories - while listening you discover each song is a love letter to the person or place that inspired the creation of each melody.

Since releasing his debut album, ‘Nature Speaks’ in 2017, Felipe has toured the South American region playing at festivals and gigs in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. Even supporting Milky Chance on their last tour of Latin America.

Felipe arrived in Australia after touring Indonesia performing at iconic venues such as Old Mans, The Cashew Tree, and Deus Temple. Since arriving in Sydney in 2018 he has converted a van into a "rolling home & studio" and has been performing around Australia at Falls Festival and various venues (The Northern Byron Bay, Solbar Sunshine Coast, Miami Marketta Gold Coast, etc) and house concerts, as well as beginning work on his second album ‘Only Light’.

He is currently based in Byron Bay and has been touring, supporting and performing alongside Jack Botts, Tay Oskee, The Dreggs, Kyle Lionhart, Dusty Boots and Ben Camden - and can be seen regularly sharing his music as part of the vibrant Byron busking community.

After releasing the singles ‘Colours’ and ‘I’ll Be There’ and playing sold out headline shows in Queensland (Miami Marketta and Solbar); Felipe has announced his new album

‘Only Light’ coming out on the 7th of December - and will be touring Queensland and

New South Wales in support of the new release.

‘Only Light’ is about finding peace and freedom in this wild world we find ourselves in, and finding solace in nature as his song says “dancing in the sun, toes full of sand”.

He wrote this song when going through some tough moments in life, struggling with anxiety and navigating living true to his purpose as a musician.

“ I wrote this song to be able to close my eyes and travel to my favourite places in nature where my mind is free and happy. ‘Only light’ is about keeping your head up and being

‘love’ & ‘light’ in this world.”

This album is about Felipe's journey in Australia since arriving in August 2018. It’s about travels around the country and the people he met along the way. Falling in love, falling out of love - and everything in between; including being a dishwasher, van-lifer, macadamia farmer and touring musician whilst surfing and exploring the coastline.

He wrote and recorded these songs to share them with the world and hopefully bring some joy, light and colours to everyone’s lives.

The album was recorded in Byron Bay, Australia with Tay Oskee and Garrett Kato and it includes the singles ‘Jonson Street’, ‘Amber’, ‘Colours’ and ‘I'll Be There’.
