FEELIN’ GOOD is a celebratory concert to herald the summer and better times ahead with two of Melbourne’s best community choirs - Expressive Women and Shaking the Tree - directed by Bronwyn Calcutt and accompanied by their own special band.

Expressive Women are much-loved for their warm and heartfelt performances that celebrate women songwriters and the feminine experience. They will kick off the concert with the music of Carole King, Sinead O’Connor, Toni Childs, Tracey Chapman and Lady Gaga, to name but a few.

“Shaking the Tree is more than just a choir, it’s a happening”.

Act Two features Shaking the Tree with an encore presentation of their recent appearances at the National Folk Festival in Canberra. Supported by the band, they will deliver songs by Miriam Makeba, The Teskey Brothers, Van Morrison, Joe Jackson, Milck and the Warumpi Band.

Act Three will bring the two choirs together in a rousing finale of fifty voices onstage powering out songs by The Beatles, Nina Simone, Toni Childs, Pat Humphries and legendary Larakia artist June Mills.

This will be an immersive and uplifting showcase of two fabulous choirs with the audience invited to sing, stomp and party along - not to be missed!
