Indie pop/rock
Empty Fish Tank - indie rock - is releasing a new EP called ‘Little Chicken’ on Friday 17th November. This EP is a companion piece to last year’s album release ‘Ladybeetle’; so what better way to show they’re companions than by launching them at the same stellar venue at Lazybones Lounge in Marrickville!
2023 also marks almost 10 years of fishie tracks, so expect a wide range of tunes spanning across the vast catalog including ‘Maybe Sorrow’, ‘Nothing’s Stopping Time’, ‘Nala’ and ‘Are You Sticking Around?’. The EP launch will be a singable, grooveable, tasty musical sandwich; with an acoustic set on top, an electric set to close, and Darling Street as the delicious filling in the middle!
Darling Street - Seamus, Paddy, Olly, Greta and Sophie have been paying their dues and playing covers every pub crowd wants to hear, while slipping in their own songs in the sets. No time for games; if an audience responded they would play it again next gig, if not then it was back to the drawing board on Darling Street. They have played all across Sydney at every hour of the night, testing their songs and having a blast while doing it. They launched their Debut E.P. ‘Sensations and Misgivings’ in May and their new single ‘I’m Still Him’ in August.
