Renowned for her mesmerising and enchanting performances, award-winning, Meanjin/Lutruwita artist Emily Wurramara has garnered widespread acclaim and recognition nationwide.

Emily's music is refreshingly candid, inspiring, and timeless, placing her among the most influential Indigenous artists in the country. With her commanding stage presence, vulnerability, and spellbinding performances, Emily undoubtedly shines as a rising star in the music scene.

Her accolades include an ARIA nomination, AIR award, 6 Queensland Music Awards and AMP Tomorrow Maker award, as well as performing alongside music icons like Michael Franti, Rob Thomas, Jack Johnson, Mavis Staples, Midnight Oil, Daryl Braithwaite, Missy Higgins, and Thelma Plum.

Emily's talent and unwavering dedication have led her to collaborate with renowned musicians such as Nick Littlemore (PNAU, Empire of the Sun) James Mangohig, Tasman Keith, Lisa Mitchell, JK-47, Reuben James (Tory Kelly, Sam Smith), Grammy Award-winning producer Q million, and Caiti Baker.

DENNI

Proud truwulway woman and multi disciplinary artist Denni Proctor is a true voice of strength for her people in Lutruwita and one of Australia’s more authentic rising storytellers and recording artist. 

Sharing her pakana/palawa culture and language in contemporary music, DENNI represents Lutruwita’s First Nations mob and brings Palawa kani back to its young, proud and culturally hungry generation.

DENNI is a seasoned live performer and festival favourite, touring laps of the nation for over a decade with her distinct style of electronic hip-hop that threads and infuses elements of Oz-indie and folk into her compositions. Whether it’s with the mob, on stage or in the studio, DENNI is an authentic, genuine voice for change, for Tasmanian Aboriginal pride, and a truly unstoppable mainstay in the industry.

Jimmy Kyle (of Chasing Ghosts)

Aboriginal lead indie punk band & NIMA nominated act (Best Emerging Talent) Chasing Ghosts came out blazing and unapologetic in 2021 dropping their critically acclaimed EP HOMELANDS via Bad Apples Music.

The EP received 4.5/5 stars from Rolling Stone Australia, titling them “the band Australia needs right now.” In the EP’s single ‘Summer’, Jimmy Kyle sings in English and, for the first time ever, in his native tongue as he explores the horrors of the 1856 Towel Creek massacre. 

Homelands Unplugged sees Thungutti front man Jimmy Kyle head into the studio and re-record the Homelands EP with just him and an acoustic guitar. The result is an intimate stripped back, raw and emotional recording intertwined with a preamble about every song which is sure to engage the listener even more.
