Hailing from New York City, Emily King is a GRAMMY-nominated artist with pop, indie and soul influences that she hones with carefully crafted compositions.

King had a busy 2016 performing on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Conan O'Brien Show and opening for Alabama Shakes around the release of her critically acclaimed album The Switch: Deluxe Edition. Now moving into 2017, King is becoming label mates with Brittany Howard and co., Benjamin Booker, Brandi Carlile and many other greats as she has inked a deal with ATO Records. King celebrates her roots, pop, soul, and indie influences by carefully crafting compositions that serve as the perfect vehicle for her polished, lush vocals.

Join Emily for her debut Melbourne performance with support from JAALA.  In the songs of the Melbourne, Australia, band Jaala, different realities are allowed to coexist, the push-and-pull as evident in frontwoman and songwriter Cosima Jaala's textured voice as in the group's erratic style.
