Hey Drums and the Espy Arts Program
DRUM CLASS WITH HEY DRUMS AND SPECIAL GUEST TINA XUAN NGUYEN
Exercise your liberation on the drum kit with semi-private drumming lessons in the Gershwin Room with the crew from Hey Drums and a special guest teaching each month.
The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on Monday 30 March has been cancelled.
Message from the event organisers:
It is with a heavy heart that we advise that the Espy’s arts program will no longer continue as a result of COVID 19. Thanks so much for supporting art at the hotel. Your tickets will be refunded. Take care and keep well.
Due to the number of cancellations, our refund process is taking slightly longer than usual. You don’t need to do anything; your ticket(s) will be automatically refunded back to your credit card/PayPal account and we’ll let you know when this has been done. It can take up to 3-5 business days for the funds to return to your account. If your card details have changed, please wait for Moshtix to contact you directly regarding this.
If you're unable to see the refund in your account after 5 business days, please contact your financial institution before contacting Moshtix.
Alternatively, if you purchased tickets from an outlet you will need to go back to the point of purchase.
Please understand that given the extraordinary circumstances, our Fan Support teams are incredibly busy at the moment, so we encourage you not to contact us. Instead, you can find lots of information and answers to your questions in our information portal at tixsupport.moshtix.com.au.

Hey Drums is a collective of female and gender minority drummers and percussionists engaged in community activities around Australia including a blog, print media, live performance and teaching events. The initiative was created in 2016 by Nat Grant, an independent drummer, percussionist, and composer from Melbourne.
Nat is passionate about subverting stereotypes around the instrument by sharing as many diverse stories as possible and creating a strong network of interesting, experienced, and awesome drummers. Check out more of their interviews with local and international artists here.
Drummer of almost any band you see on stage in Melbourne, Tina Nguyen has been drumming since 2002 and is a master of her trade. Since 2018, Tina has been a much-loved drum instructor at Girls Rock! Melbourne, encouraging female, gender diverse and queer kids to grow their confidence and hop on stage. Tina is passionate about the queer community, seeing representation on stage and hitting the tubs as beautifully as possible.
