‘Heaven and Hell’ with CHANELLE & BRONTE

We just hosted the likes of the Former Minister of Foreign Affairs on stage with King of Pop and a Pushy Woman in collaboration with Melbourne Writers Festival.

How on earth do we return from a stage full of heavy weights like that?

We don't stay on earth. We go straight to Heaven and Hell.

CHANELLE AND BRONTE

On a breath inflamed from a fused heartbeat, Bronte and Chanelle move to a concurrent rhythm delivered through a deep devotion to their performance art.

Their synergistic interpretation of their craft makes life a constant recital, where they take stage through an unapologetic defiant sense of self and seduction, an unrelenting sentiment for beauty and chaos, and an unbreakable temper to enthrall and captivate.

This symbiotic affinity has led to them conspiring and collaborating exclusively for this September's installation of Dr Sketchy's, where they present to you the relationship of their 'Heaven and Hell'. The great divide of the divine and the damned that without each other have no meaning, and with each other are in ways truly inseparable.

"a room full of friendly people, an appreciation for art, beautiful models, unreal costumes and a truck load of fun times." Harxest Mag

The world's original alternative drawing movement.

Whether you're an artstar or a scribbling newbie, Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School is the perfect place to get your fill of drawing fun.
Art brings people together, regardless of age, colour, gender or sexual orientation.

Melbourne's underground performance scene is an amazing source of inspiration for artists and is the well from which we draw our models, inviting them to our community where we celebrate the fun often left behind as adults with creativity and drawing.

Dr Sketchy welcomes artists and art hobbyists of all stripes attend, those who have drawn before and those who have never picked up a pencil. Dr. Sketchy has been a boon to the art scene since its inception, promoting creativity and community in every city that runs one.

Like Kurt Vonnegut said "practising an art, no matter how well or how badly is a way to make your soul grow".
