Having toured the world with their captivating mix of Afro-Latin Sonero traditions, R&B, Pop & Soul, Veneno have developed a huge following. Their singer-songwriter C Major also developed a fanbase through featuring on The Voice where he was mentored by Ricky Martin and Will.i.am.
“Veneno” is the Spanish word for “venom”, perfectly describing the infectious music produced by Sydney’s home grown 12 piece band with a sound and musicianship like no other. A band with so much musical and brotherhood history, with a huge global following.
The combination of Son Veneno and C Major has resulted in the incredible success story that is Veneno.
Son Veneno’s musical diversity begun by composing, recording and performing with
many international artists including: Ozomatli (LA), Kelis (NYC), Maceo Parker (NC),
Aloe Blacc (US), Cubanismo (CUBA), Los De Abajo (MEX), Metallica (LA), Reve Y Su
Charangon, Fulanito (DOM) and vocalists Rebecca Tapia (AUS), Maya Jupiter (AUS),
Holly Ottignon (UK), Gonzalo Porta (URU) and Merenia Gillies (MAORI).
C Major has worked with the likes of many international artists such as: T-Pain, B.O.B, Royce Da 5’9, Wanye Morris (Boyz 2 Men), Mars (1500), Fat Man Scoop, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Mr. Porter (Eminem’s Producer), Marvin Priest – and Australian artists Stan Walker, Timomatic, Justce Crew, Young Men Society, and the list goes on.
When Veneno and famed singer C Major join forces, the energy and ambience is incredibly contagious! A world class combination! Together they have toured the world and continue to conquer every stage they perform on.
