Join the 19-piece Divergence for their 10th birthday gig

Born in Sydney’s inner-west in 2012, the 19-piece Divergence Jazz Orchestra have now been performing, recording and promoting original Australian music for 10 years. Since their first performance in July 2012, Divergence has evolved into an inclusive and diverse creative community made up of first class improvisers and ensemble musicians. They have released two critically-acclaimed albums of original music The Opening Statement (2013) and Fake it Until You Make It (2016), with their third album release on the way.

Join them for a gig at Petersham Bowling Club to celebrate this ridiculous decade of music making, where they’ll be performing a bunch of favourites plus new tunes from Jenna Cave, Bonnie Green and Alana McPherson. This concert line-up will feature some exciting new faces in the group alongside our trusty regulars.
