Diesel returns to Darwin with his Give Me Saturday Night Solo Tour

While still in his teens, American born guitarist and singer, Mark Lizotte, was snatched from his bar band in Perth and launched onto the Australian charts as the leader of Johnny Diesel and the Injectors. A career was born and now some 30 years later Diesel is still rocking Saturday nights around the nation.

Having released his greatest hits album, 'Diesel 30 - The Greatest Hits', in August last year, Diesel will return to Darwin to perform an intimate and solo show in Sandbar at Mindil Beach Casino Resort on Thursday 4th July.

Stripping it back to basics with just his voice and a guitar, Diesel will perform tracks from his three decade-long back catalogue including 'Tip of My Tongue', 'Come To Me', 'Soul Revival' plus his new single 'Give Me Saturday Night'.

"It certainly has been a trip to look back at the tracks with a lot of great memories. It's also great to add something new to the package by putting my new single on the album. It's a bit of a classic track for me as it encapsulates my 30 years in the industry, making any night of the week a Saturday night", Diesel says.

General Admission: $38.35 inc booking and transaction fees. Sandbar will close at 7pm and reopen at 7.30pm for ticket holders. Show starts 8pm.
