In 2018, we lost a dear friend and all round great person Jae Haydon. I had planned to put on a gig called "The Brightness" to celebrate his life and raise money for the family. Due to the overwhelming response and other events happening everywhere around dedicated to Jae we decided another one wasn't needed at that stage. At that time, I got this amazing piece of art from Pete at Pee Records, who had a connection with Jae through releasing Lost in Lines "Smiles that Scream" album many moons ago which was and still is, one of my all time favourite records for many different reasons. I've had the art saved on my PC for a couple of years now and with the help of Josh at Creepshow Promotions we have put together this awesome line up at Dicey Riley's. We would like to thank Dicey's for making this event not only possible but allowing us to make it completely FREE ENTRY.

So here it is, "THE BRIGHTNESS" - In memory of Jae Haydon. We are not asking for money or raising money for charity, we are simply asking everyone to come together, share some food, drink, a dance and share a story about that amazing friend we had called Jae Haydon. RIP - 1984 - 2018
