Immerse yourself in a day steeped in tradition, with the timeless Derby Day fashion theme of Black & White, carefully curated hospitality experiences, magnificent entertainment and renowned live racing.

Derby Day hosts two of the most illustrious Group One races of Stradbroke Season, $1,000,000 Queensland Derby and the $700,000 Kingsford-Smith Cup.

The Queensland Derby is the race that launched Kiwi hero Rough Habit’s amazing winter carnival feats and in more recent times has been heavily targeted by Hong Kong buyers, who see it as a perfect forerunner for unearthing their own future stars.

The Kingsford-Smith Cup is relatively new in name, but under its previous guise of the BTC Cup had an honour roll headed by none other than the great Black Caviar.
