The extraordinary and internationally acclaimed concert pianist David Helfgott, shot to worldwide fame through the Academy Award winning film “Shine”. Now 25 years later, David continues to shine on the world’s greatest concert platforms and receive worldwide recognition for his remarkable technique and interpretative genius. But David’s recitals transcend mere music making- they affirm the tenacity of the human spirit. See, hear and meet David Helfgott in an exclusive “up close and personal” once only appearance as he christens the Brunswick Ballroom’s brand new concert grand piano.

DINNER AND SHOW MENU


The Brunswick Artists' Bar and Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the Victorian State Government vaccination mandate. Therefore, as outlined in the Victorian Roadmap, only patrons, staff and artists who are double vaccinated against Covid-19 will be able to enter the venue.

Customers are required to check-in via the Service Victoria App with a valid Vaccination certificate as they enter the venue.

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
- Hand sanitiser dispensers
- Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
- Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.

The kitchen will be serving the Dinner & Show Menu for this show, with dinner served from 6:30pm.
When the Ballroom offers a Dinner & Show experience, meals must be pre-booked with your tickets prior to the event. Only patrons who pre-purchase a Dinner & Show experience are able to dine in the venue on the night. You can view the delicious menu by clicking here.

The Brunswick Ballroom is Accessible.
The Brunswick Ballroom has made significant improvements to accessibility by installing an 
Acorn Chairlift. (Model: New Acorn Indoor 180 Curved Stairlift.)
