Aussie punks dave are a right old stitch up - loveable larrikins that'll give you a rollicking good time and a dusty hangover. With a reputation for an intense live show, dave's brand of high voltage rock'n'roll is as hard hitting as it is infectious.

2017 was a massive year for the boys, releasing the mini-album 'YOCH! Bangers Vol. 1'. Hi-octane bangers Take It All and Rock n Roll were both added to high rotation on Triple J's Unearthed Radio, while the catchy, chill-rocker Eggiwegs came in at number 18 for FBi Radio's top played tracks of 2017. The track also made a podium finish on Sydney music and arts publication Happy Mag's Top 100, voted third best song of the year.

The boys are now set to release their fourth EP in as many years, 'Never Yoch Alone'. With five tracks of unassuming indie rock, the record sees dave develop a more melodic and mature sound, while maintaining their raw and gritty energy. Lump in Your Throat is the second single to be released off the upcoming EP and is some of the band's most tender and evocative work to date.

"Lump in your throat is a song I had kicking around for a long time before I showed the guys and we started jamming it. It's a lot more melodic and vulnerable than our previous stuff and is probably more emotionally charged than any of our other songs. It's an indication of the direction we have taken for the new EP, adding some softer moments to our trademark high voltage yoch n roll." - Noah Church (lead singer/songwriter)

The EP's title track, NYA, is a misty-eyed ode to YOCH! Records, the band's self-managed label through which they release their tunes. The closing lines to the song, 'it's that moment when you realise / there is beauty in our boring lives,' sums up the sentiment and themes of the record. From sitting on the lounge all night watching TV to stopping at every rest-stop on the Pacific Highway between Newcastle and Brisbane, dave take the mundane and flip it on its head with their latest and strongest work to date.
