Legendary american songwriting duo Damon & Naomi announce their first Australian tour this April. Hailed for their output on labels like Subpop and one time members of Galaxie 500 members, the duet have come to symbolise a special kind of visionary pop music.

Since the conclusion of Cambridge, Massachusetts seminal dream pop group Galaxie 500, the band's rhythm section and co-songwriters Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang have continued their collaboration as a duo, elaborating on a tradition of slow-floating narrative of semi-consciousness.

The pair's output has seen release on Shimmy Disc, with 1992's defining More Sad Hits, and Sub Pop, taking in a decade's work with The Wondrous World of Damon & Naomi, Playback Singers, and collaboration with legendary Japanese psych group Damon & Naomi With Ghost. In 2002, the duo formed their own label, '20'20'20, releasing fifth studio album The Earth is Blue, and glowing subsequent works.
