Collaborative Ownership - Business Models for the new Creative Economy

The Arts and Creative industries are by default collaborative and by choice values and principle driven. The arts is the vanguard for creativity but what are the opportunities for shared wealth and ownership of creative industries assets and services in this new Sharing Economy? 

The challenge of collaborative ownership in the creative sector. Cooperatives is a business model for shared wealth and assets through services in this new Sharing Economy? Artists have the capacity to manage their own markets though cooperative enterprises.

Key note Speakers/Panellists:

JanelleOrsi of the San Francisco based Executive Director at Sustainable Economies Law Center & Co-Convenor Platform Cooperativism (http://platformcoop.net/) argues that "Creative Cooperatives will change our Economy".

Tim Horton is nationally recognised as an architect, adviser and agitator for smart policy that enables good design. He has a lifetime of Cooperative experience, his father David was a former NSW Registrar of Credit Unions and Cooperatives.  Tim will challenge, guide and facilitate the seminar in high energy vivid style. 

Melina Morrison is CEO of the national peak association the Business Council of Cooperative & Mutuals.
