Tomás Ford wasn't an international party icon yet in 1989, but he was already collecting all the cassettes and 45s ready to play for you at the magnificent Crap Music 80s Party!

I know. I know. "The 80s were awesome," you say. But there were big swathes of it that were trashy, nasty, pastel-coloured fun. And that's where we're going this time - Tomás is gonna play your non-stop 80s, so-bad-its-good, set-the-dancefloor-on-fire HOT REQUESTS.

He's drawing up some 80s-tastic animations, op-shopping some 80stastic clothes, bringing his DIY disco lights, stupid $2 shop props and will be ready to be the biggest idiot in the room all night, so you get as silly as you want.

International party icon Tomás Ford brings his super-fun Crap Music Rave Party to Howler on Saturday September 14!

Tomás is the world’s most hyperactive DJ, proudly playing the songs you love to hate as he lipsynchs his way through the night, projecting home-made rave-style videos, dons FIFO-inspired high vis costumes, flashes DIY hardware store disco lights with his hands, improvises drag shows and generally does his best to be the biggest idiot in the room. It's a hilarious experience that'll keen you laughing and dancing all night.

Need some request ideas? How about these: Danni Minogue, John Farnham, Bananarama, synthpop Billy Joel, Sheena Easton, Dannii Minogue, Bros, Alice Cooper's hair metal period, Samantha Fox, Dannii Minogue, Michael Bolton, Duran Duran, Miami Sound Machine, Go West, Kylie Minogue en Francaise, Martika, Jean Michelle Jarre, the Dirty Dancing soundtrack, Mi-Sex, Dannii Minogue... the list is endless.

Tomás has sold out shows around the world, including seven massive years at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. He’s had mega tours around New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Malaysia. Crap Music Rave Party is the most gloriously silly idea he’s ever come up with (which is a pretty big call – his other shows are bloody dumb too). This is gonna be the best time that a group of people ever had dancing to music off some guy's laptop. 80s threads optional but OMG TOTALLY ENCOURAGED ARE YOU KIDDING DO IT GO ON THEN. Grab some mates, grab some tickets and get ready for the best night of our lives since the party Tomás' school threw for the 1988 Bicentennial with the fairy bread and stuff.

Seriously, this is gonna be great. Come and party.
