A popular live band whose last tour boasted a string of sold out shows, Cousin Tony's is announcing an extensive run of dates which will take them across the country to celebrate 'Love is Heartbreak', the first track from the forthcoming sophomore LP 'New Romancer'

Landing less than a year after their debut album 'Electric Brown', 'Love is Heartbreak' is the first track from the forthcoming sophomore LP 'New Romancer' by magnificent Melbourne shapeshifters Cousin Tony's Brand New Firebird.
Recorded between LA and Melbourne 'Love is Heartbreak' is an ambitious and kaleidoscopic piece of indie-pop which perfectly sets the scene for the new record's thematic journey from heartbreak to recovery.

This will be followed by their first UK and Ireland tour in May, which will coincide with the album's release. With millions of streams already behind them, 4-5 star Unearthed reviews from the folks at triple j; and Matt Corby, Montaigne and Gang of Youths' Dave Le'aupepe having all previously sung their praises, it looks like 2019 could well be the year that the 'bird truly soars!
