Melbourne's favourite new live music night is back in autumn with a season of shows at The Toff In Town! Communion Melbourne features a different lineup each month offering a creative platform for emerging, developing and established artists to perform in an environment that embraces collaboration and mutual support.
The Communion music night has it's roots in London, having operated there since 2006. Established by Ben Lovett (Mumford and Sons), Kevin Jones and producer Ian Grimble, in it's time it has nurtured the likes of Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons, Noah and the Whale, Marcus Foster, Matt Corby, Nathaniel Rateliff, Matthew and the Atlas, Boy & Bear, The Staves, Ben Howard and Michael Kiwanuka to name just a few. The night has now expanded to several cities throughout the UK as well as bases in New York and San Francisco.
