Seven live comedian performances amongst the beautiful grounds at Brown Brothers, Milawa. Join host Merrick Watts, and his funny friends; comedy, music, food, wine - everything you could possibly wish for.

After three sold-out events in South Australia's wine regions, Grapes of Mirth is heading East, to deliver comedy amongst the vines.

An entire afternoon of entertainment, as lovers of comedy and wine sprawl out across the grounds at Brown Brothers, with 130 years of winemaking history. On the day they'll be set up with amazing food stalls including the 'Produce Corner', 'Barn Kitchen', and of course the perfect location for an outdoor comedy festival.

Grapes of Mirth King Valley includes comedy by:    CELIA PACQUOLA - "Utopia", "Have You Been Paying Attention", and "Rosehaven". One of the brightest stars in Australian Comedy right now is coming to King Valley for her very first Grapes Of Mirth appearance. CAN NOT WAIT!   LUKE MCGREGOR - "Utopia", "Luke Warm Sex", and "Rosehaven". Luke is back! Absolutely destroyed it at our recent Barossa Valley event and now he plans on doing the same in the King Valley. Prepare for raptures!   TOM GLEESON - The host of "Hard Chat" on "The Weekly" and "Hard Quiz" on the ABC. Lucky for us Tom loves Grapes of Mirth "Hard!" and will be back for a very special performance at Brown Brothers.   DANIELLE WALKER - Winner of 'Best Newcomer' at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Danielle recently appeared as 'Ranger Danny' alongside stars KateMcLennan and Kate McCartney on the show everyone is talking about, "GetKrack!n" for ABC TV.   PETER ROWSTHORN - Adored for his role as long-time-suffering husband and pants-man Brett Craig on "Kath & Kim", Pete Rowsthorn is one of Australia's most loved comedians. With three decades of stand-up under his belt, Pete is about to unleash his high energy and fast-paced comedy on the King Valley.   MERRICK WATTS - Best known as one half of the successful duo Hamish and Andy, Merrick is a Grapes Of Mirth addict and a new fan of the King Valley region after visiting earlier this year - in fact, any wine region - in fact, any wine. In short, he has a problem.   FIONA O'LOUGHLIN - One of the most in-demand comedians in this country. A late starter, but with an award-winning career of almost 15 years, Fiona plays to packed houses in venues and festivals across the globe. Winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's (MICF) "Best Newcomer Award in 2001", and of course the winner of "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here".

Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate chill-out day with six headline comedy sets and some sweet DJ tunes to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended. Only the best Brown Brothers wine, locally produced beer and cider, and plenty of gourmet grub on offer.

Across Brown Brother's beautiful grounds there will be areas set up for picnic blankets and both low and high back chairs - more details on this to follow.

Strictly No BYO - there will be plenty of food, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase on the day.

This is strictly an 18+ event, because there are comedians involved, and well, because there are comedians involved.
