After three sold-out events in South Australia's wine regions, Grapes of Mirth is heading East, to deliver comedy amongst the vines.

An entire afternoon of entertainment, as lovers of comedy and wine sprawl out across the grounds at beautiful Pialligo Estate; with their garden pavilions, olive grove, vineyard, orchard, award-winning smokehouse products, and the perfect place to host an outdoor comedy festival.

Grapes of Mirth Canberra includes comedy by:   HUGHESY - Host of "Hughesy We Have A Problem" and one half of the hit network "Hughesy & Kate"- he's back for another Grapes of Mirth stint, after appearing at the very first GOM event in early 2017. A fan bloody favourite, it's great to have him back!   RHYS NICHOLSON - "Orange is the New Brown", "Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala" and "Hughesy We Have A Problem". Rhys is as fiery as his hair would suggest - a brilliant live performer.   DILRUK JAYASINHA - 2018 Logie award winner for 'Best New Talent' - has also starred on "Utopia", "Cram" and "Have You Been Paying Attention?". Dilruk has fast become one of Australia's most loved comedians after leaving a career as an accountant. His parents are still holding onto the hope that he will return to accountancy!   ANNE "EDDO" EDMONDS - "Have You Been Paying Attention?" and star of "The Edge of the Bush". Anne is back and we couldn't be happier! Brutally honest, intelligent and hilarious.   LEHMO - "Utopia", "The Project" and Fox Footy's "The Beep Test". This T.V, radio and stand-up veteran makes his return to Grapes Of Mirth in 2018 and we're as rapt, as you will be!   MERRICK WATTS - Best known as one half of the successful duo Hamish and Andy, Merrick is a Grapes Of Mirth addict and a new fan of the Canberra Wine District region - in fact, any wine region - in fact, any wine. In short, he has a problem.   MEL BUTTLE - the host of "The Great Australian Bake Off" is in Canberra to bake your face off with laughter! Back from a recent 3-day tour with Merrick Watts which she described as "the longest 6 months of my life" Mel is fighting fit and raring to go!

Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate chill-out day with six headline comedy sets, a host with the most, and some sweet DJ tunes to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended. Only the best locally produced wine, beer and cider, and plenty of gourmet grub on offer.

Across Pialligo Estate's grounds, there will be areas set up for picnic blankets and both low and high back chairs - more details on this to follow.

Strictly No BYO - there will be plenty of food, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase on the day.

This is strictly an 18+ event, because there are comedians involved, and well, because there are comedians involved.
