Kicking off the long weekend in The Laundry is Deens + Friends: all night long. Deens has carved her place in the local music scene with her bass-driven, genre-bending sound, celebrating UK underground music, skillfully woven together with Swana, South Asian and global influences. Headlined by local heavyweight and Womp Krew CEO Gowchii who’ll be playing an extended 140/breaks set, Deens + Friends promises an unforgettable night of UKG, Breaks, Dubstep, Grime, Bassline and Jungle to get you two-stepping and sweating into the long weekend.

LOIF + D-GRADE
D-Grade and LOIF go b2b (bestie-2-bestie) for an extended all-night set in the Cave. An encore to their debut pairing at ‘plur’ in February, expect a mischievous melange of bass, breaks, psy and tek/tech(house)… Once donned the “dark-knight of Naarm” (source unknown, 2025), LOIF works at the vanguard of the new Melbourne sound. His psy-spiked idiosyncratic sound sees releases on Animalia, Steeplejack, Ute.Rec, Amniote Editions, INDEX Records, and Pressure Dome. As a DJ, he carries the dynamic energy of his productions straight to the dancefloor, complementing his world of vibrant psychedelia with even more viscerality and groove.  D-Grade is a DJ and organiser based on Gadigal land who enjoys frenetic, bossy and beautiful sounds. They often present ‘serious’ music with cheek, quirk and unpredictability and love to playfully toy at the margins between ‘mind’ and ‘body’ music. They’re partial to a good baseline, gritty drums, a gloomy vocal or gaudy guitar riffs.
