Vulnerability and authenticity have long been appreciated as defining characteristics of Kaypo's wider discography and live shows, which have recently been elevated to new emotional highs through the addition of James Xavier - a long term veteran of drums, guitar and keys - on stage.

Kaypo and James join forces at the Woolly Mammoth to launch Kaypo’s summer anthem ‘Children Of The Sun’ - the next in a line of singles produced by Juno-award winning producer Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Simple Plan, CARYS). “Children Of The Sun” is an ode to simpler times - where life was a simple, carefree adventure. I felt like I needed to reconnect with that inner spirit now more than ever. I think we all did in some way, given the challenges of these last two years.”
