Lo-fi electro sounds, guitar and bass combined with quirky song writing and on point vocal harmonies. Cheeses is the latest from long term musical collaborators Jane McCracken and Eva Sommerfeld (The Foots). This is what happens when two people just keep on making music together!

Denim Owl:

The current lineup of Naarm-based pop outfit Denim Owl consists of Janita Foley, Joe Foley, Jill Farrar, Irit Rozenfeld and Stephanie Hooke. 

Forming with the mission of bringing Janita's songs to life, the band mates wield electric and slide guitar, fretless bass, backing vocals, clicks and hand percussion, Casio tones, and electronic drum beats from an OP-1 synthesiser.

The group share handsome tunes, scuffed up by extended instrumental wig-outs, and at every live show, aim to Mesmerise Or Die in the dazzling manner of a peacock spider performing its fancy wooing dance.

The band will be releasing their highly anticipated album in early 2024.
