Changing the Game” looking at Mental Health and Wellbeing in Sport.

This forum is an opportunity for anyone involved in sport and recreation across the Northern region to come together and have an open and frank conversation about mental health, and the impact of drugs and alcohol within the sporting environment.  The conversations will be led by Good Sports, supported by guest speakers, professional jockey Clare Lindop and Port Adelaide FC great Kane Cornes.

The Northern Adelaide Local Drug Action Team, Good Sports, Australian Drug Foundation, Northern Sport and Recreation Network, and Councils are working together to share information, build resilience, and promote positive mental health.  Working together from grass roots to elite levels, our aim is to continue to build family friendly sporting environments, which are informed and prepared to face the challenges of the future.

Plus, one member per club will receive free Responsible Service of Alcohol training through attending and participating in the evening.
