URSULA ROBINSON-SHAW is a writer living in Naarm. Her work has appeared in Overland, Cordite, Sydney Review of Books, Best Australian Poems, Best New Zealand Poems, and elsewhere. She is co-director of sick leave.
ALI ALIZADEH is a Melbournian writer and scholar whose recent books include a collection of poems, Towards the End (Giramondo, 2020) and a work on aesthetic theory, Marx and Art. He is a senior lecturer at Monash University and is working on his first Horror novel.
FREQUENT SEAHORSE, with Andrew (piano) and Andrew (vocals/hidden synth), play original songs lovingly pieced together with pianos and notebooks.
LUCINDA WALRAVENS will be holding space for the evening as Master of Ceremonies. She raises plants in Footscray and subscribes to Epicurus’ ‘natural and necessary’ values: friends, freedom, thought, food, shelter, and clothes, in that order.
