Flickerfest 2020 - Best Of Australian Shorts & Catered After-Party

Celebrating 29 years in 2020 Flickerfest is Australia’s only Academy® qualifying and BAFTA recognised short film festival and largest short film competition. After Flickerfest’s 10 -day festival at Bondi Beach in early January selected highlights are now on tour to over 50+ venues from Jan-May.

Australia's largest short film festival returns to Palace James St Cinema with a specially curated Best Of Australian Shorts programme celebrating Australian filmmakers and stories, all hand-picked from Flickerfest’s Australian competition in Bondi! With over 3,500 entries received for Flickerfest 2020 there is no shortage of talent on the big screen to enjoy! Come along and be dazzled by an incredible range of Australian filmmakers.

Then join them at the fully-catered after-party with delicious snacks, Gage Roads beer, Rosnay wines & Parkers drinks all included with your ticket!

Flickerfest remains a platform for celebrating the most entertaining and innovative short filmmaking from Australia and around the world and celebrating these films and their makers with audiences on the big screen.
