BREIZERS ‘Galactic Zoo’ Debut Album Tour @ Transit
Sydney’s powerhouse funk trio BREIZERS have been nonstop since their foundation in 2016; Multiple tours of Australia's east coast, hosting cancer fundraisers that raised over $4,000, and festival appearances at Rabbits Eat Lettuce, King Street Crawl, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Grassplot and Bandapalooza.
Come June this year, they are independently releasing their debut album ‘Galactic Zoo’ in its entirety, with album singles ‘Darlin’ and ‘Now In Hi-Def’ receiving spins from FBi Radio, premieres from Life Without Andy, and the ‘Now In Hi-Def’ music video being featured at Golden Age Cinema through CLIPPED.TV. The band will be touring 'Galactic Zoo' bringing the album live to Transit Bar, Canberra on Thursday 20th of June.
An 8-track LP, recorded live in a church community centre mid last year over the space of a month (the final days before it was sold to real estate developers and closed off from the public). The album was recorded, mixed and produced by the bands close friend and old high school music teacher, James Moore.
"BREIZERS debut LP 'Galactic Zoo' is their attempt to describe the idiosyncrasies associated with life on Earth. Much like we observe animals in a zoo, ‘Galactic Zoo' does its best to observe human life as if an otherworldly being is looking down upon us, trying to decipher the beautiful sensations and unjust complications associated with moving through our strange world. BREIZERS hope to deliver these ideas in the purest and most authentic way they know. Funk from Planet Earth. This is an exhibit at the Galactic Zoo."
