Duke of George presents
Bourbon, Beef & Blues Evening Featuring Chicago Blues Tribute
An evening of whiskey appreciation, food & bourbon parings, cocktail specials and excellent Chicago Blues tunes.
Ticket includes two tasting boards with whiskey and food pairings, a guided tasting of America’s most popular whiskeys with Woodford Reserve Brand Ambassador; Jamie Passmore, and two sets of live music by local legends Bill Rogers, Kent Hughes, Bob Patient.
Chicago Blues Tribute, featuring Bill Rogers (Harmonica, Sax, Vocals), Kent Hughes (Guitar, Vocals) and Bob Patient (Piano, Organ, Vocals) have approximately 150 years of experience between them, playing in some of Australia's best-known blues bands.
On Friday 15 July at the Duke of George this trio, along with a cracking rhythm section (Pete Guazzelli on drums and Graeme Bell on bass), will bring together that combined experience in a tribute to the greats of the Chicago Blues scene of the 1950s and 60s, including the golden era of Chess Records, with their interpretations of the music of Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, BB King, Freddie King and more.
Musicians of this calibre celebrating Bourbon, Beef & Chicago Blues at one of Perth's finest blues clubs promises to be a cracker of an evening
