Event Details

Friday 3 April date has been rescheduled to Friday 18 September 2020.

Your current tickets are automatically valid for this new date, and you do not need to take any further action if you are able to attend the event.

Message from the event organiser:

"Hey Booty fans,

We’re sad to announce that our upcoming East Coast tour, and performances at A Day on the Lawn and The Big Pineapple Music Festival have been postponed, due to new restrictions imposed by the Australian government.

The rescheduled dates for the East Coast capital shows are as follows:

Fri 18 September - Howler
Fri 25 September - Marrickville Bowls Club
Sat 26 September - Woolly Mammoth

While SCABZ remain on the tour, Shag Rock can sadly no longer join us on this run. We’ll announce a replacement for them in the coming weeks.

All purchased tickets are valid for the rescheduled dates; however, if you cannot make it along, please see details below on how to process a refund.

We please ask that you strongly consider hanging onto your tickets and attending the new dates.

This just doesn’t affect us and other artists…

The music and live entertainment industry are and will be one of the hardest hit, amid the pandemic. Our management, agents, promoters, production staff, venues, bar workers, security guards… the list goes on.

Massive love to all of you, please stay safe, calm and look out for each other. We’re all in this together!

Carlos and Jimmy x”

Should you no longer be able to attend the event, you have the option to request a refund prior to Friday 1 May 2020 by logging into your Moshtix Account here and clicking on Manage Tickets to view and select the Request Refund option. If your card details have changed, please wait for Moshtix to contact you directly regarding this.

If you're unable to see the refund in your account after this period, please contact your financial institution before contacting Moshtix.

Alternatively, if you purchased tickets from an outlet you will need to go back to the point of purchase.

Please understand that given the extraordinary circumstances, our Fan Support teams are incredibly busy at the moment, so we encourage you not to contact us. Instead, you can find lots of information and answers to your questions in our information portal at tixsupport.moshtix.com.au.

While the band is forced off the road, front man Carlos Lara and guitarist Jimmy Young will head back into the studio, to work on their new forthcoming staggered EP titled ‘Collaborations of Very Isolated Delinquents “19’ - inspired by current events and premonitions experienced by Lara in late-2019.

The first single ‘We Independent’ is set for release on Friday May 22.

Lara explains the motivation behind the project:

“While we can’t tour, Jim and myself thought it could be cool to set ourselves a challenge of dropping a new track each month and tie it all into a conceptual EP. The record is set to be heavily influenced by what’s currently happening in the world and some wild dreams I had towards the end of 2019, where the world had been consumed by biological warfare”.

On Bootleg Rascal’s rescheduled East Coast capital city tour, opening support act SCABZ will remain on all new dates, while main support Shag Rock can sadly no longer move forward on the tour. Bootleg Rascal will announce a replacement for Shag Rock in the coming weeks.

All purchased tickets are valid for the rescheduled dates; however, if punters cannot make it along, information around processing refunds will be made available from each respective ticket selling company.

All tickets purchased for Big Pineapple Music Festival are valid for the new date, however refunds are also available for those who cannot attend. Ticket holders will be able to apply for a refund through Moshtix.

A Day on the Lawn have yet to advise a replacement date, but for now, all ticket holders will receive a refund from Oztix.

‘We Independent’ is available worldwide on Friday May 22
