MELBOURNE... it's time to turn the hell up as Boysnoize Records, UNDR Ctrl, Purple Sneakers & Zanerobe proudly present the BNR HALLOWEEN RAVE at Northcote Social Club on Saturday 31st October featuring the exclusive return of Spank Rock (USA) alongside label mate Jensen Interceptor (Sydney) and a strong local crew for the heads.

Last seen on tour in the country with Mark Ronson playing a huge run of festival shows back in 2012/13, Spank Rock is the Baltimore-born rapper/producer celebrating his newest EP The Upside, released via Bad Blood and Boysnoize Records. In 2006 Spank Rock's cult classic debut album YoYoYoYoYo gave us club banger 'Bump', and was named as one of Tom Yorke's (Radiohead) top 10 albums of that year. Everything Is Fucking Boring And Everyone Is A Fucking Liar (2011) was the highly anticipated follow up LP produced by Boys Noize, and includes appearances from Santigold, Big Freedia and XXXchange. Described as a progenitor of the dance/rap hybrid, Spank Rock is renowned for his electrifying, heavy sweat inducing performances and we can expect maximum heat from his new-look DJ/Rap mash-up set for this Halloween throwdown.

With a couple of Boysnoize Records EP releases already to his name ('Crack' and 'Symptions'), INTL.C tastemaker Jensen Interceptor will be joining the team, fresh from touring alongside Brodinski and The Hacker. Keeping the vibes buzzing will be local selector Glass Mirrors - who has opened for Yuksek, HAIM and Client Liaison, rising teenage producer Peruw, who recently dropped his track 'City of Gold' to approving nods and the Houses In Motion DJs, primed and ready to warm the NSC floor.
