Blues Collective launched in June 2015 playing blues and swamp music by Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, BB King, JJ Cale, Tony Joe White, Dr. John & Taj Mahal
In addition to playing blues in Australia, Chris Martin Murphy has played blues in UK, USA, France (The Electrons 1961-65 + 2005-14), Martin Skipper in the UK (Mick Clarke Band, Limmie & Family Cooking), Ian Chisholm in HK (Chimera) and Martin Davison and Bruce Stephens in NZ

with special guest Liza Ohlback, a finalist for the 2016 “Australian Blues Artist of the Year”
