BLUE UMBRELLA Singer/songwriter John Bailey provides the soul surfer vocals and guitar for this cool soul/ blues duo. Triple WAMIA award winning jazz pianist, Russell Holmes, supplies the funky piano grooves. As well as Bailey’s original songs, which have twice won the Western Australia Song of the Year Contest, the duo’s live show features artists Jackson Browne, Little Feat, Van Morrison, The Doors and more. The duo’s recent CD “Rivermouth” is a collection of songs written by Bailey on his small yacht at Rottnest Island.
