Young Henrys returns with the Best Served Loud (Victoria) gig series to Brunswick's The Spotted Mallard in September. The next rendition features Fraser A. Gorman with performances by The Fillmore Brothers & Madeline Leman on Friday 27 September, Grand Final Eve.
Hailing from the snoozy, surf town of Torquay, Fraser A. Gorman harnessed his love for country, blues and folk to create a laid-back, soulful sound that has earned him critical acclaim across the globe from the likes of MOJO and Rolling Stone.
With lush vocals, playful storytelling and a wild onstage energy Melbourne band Madeline Leman and The Desert Swells will take you on a trip through 60s surf, 70s pop and their unique brand of ‘Femmericana’ twang.
The Fillmore Brothers play a brand of honest, catchy guitar rock centred around the distinct voices of brothers Jack and Seamus. Taking cues from Australia’s rich history of guitar pop, the brothers craft songs from the jangliest recesses of the heart, both serious and flippant.
